Jeff Gonzales
Born into a family rooted in television and radio, Jeff Gonzales inherited a passion for media from his grandfather, Blackie Gonzales, a pioneer in the industry. Growing up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jeff gained hands-on experience early, working on live broadcasts and commercials.
After attending the Columbia Academy for Broadcasting in Vancouver, Canada, he returned to Northern New Mexico, dedicated to telling stories that reflect its rich culture and traditions. As a filmmaker, Jeff has directed and produced multiple projects, including the award-nominated documentary Chico's, A Northern New Mexican Tradition and Ole Posole. His work on Hawk-Man, an episodic for the hit web series Offset, and his role as an executive producer on Joni, further solidify his expertise in film production.
Jeff is also a co-founder and board member of the Santa Fe Indie Film Club, supporting emerging filmmakers. With a deep commitment to storytelling and collaboration, he continues to push creative boundaries, including his work on Whale Song: From the Depths of Time.
